March 2024 Provost’s Corner
Dear faculty and staff,
We’re near the end of spring break, but still in the midst of a busy semester. I hope that you’re enjoying the warmer weather and all that is going on around campus.
March marks Women’s History Month, where we honor the outstanding women who made NC State into the example of excellence in higher education it is today.
Additionally, we’ve hosted quite a few events around campus recently, including the ChemEd Summit and the annual Conference on Faculty Excellence. If you are a faculty member, I encourage you to fill out the 2024 Collaborative on Academic Careers in High Education (COACHE) Faculty Satisfaction Survey you received, which you can read more about in this newsletter. The survey closes the week of April 1.
As spring officially arrives and we move toward the latter part of the semester, I want to thank you for a successful year thus far. I encourage you to take part in the many activities taking place at NC State and look forward to what comes next.

Until next time,
Warwick Arden
Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost
