Dear faculty and staff,
It’s hard to believe we’re less than a month away from the end of the academic year — and what a year it has been. As the semester winds to a close, there’s still lots of activity around campus and much to look forward to.
I recently hosted the Provost’s Unit Awards for Excellence, and we have several other honors mentioned in this newsletter. Soon, we’ll gather with many of our esteemed faculty to celebrate the University Teaching Awards, with more awards to follow in the coming month. Additionally, we’re showcasing the ChemEd Summit and previewing the 2026 Interdisciplinary Excellence event.
We’re also excited about the success of NC State’s annual Day of Giving, which raised more than $43 million this year. From faculty and staff, to students, alumni and friends of the university, we came together to show how we’re moving our land-grant mission forward through making our mark in philanthropy.
Thank you for all the many ways you give — whether through your time, knowledge or other resources — to make NC State an outstanding place to work and study. Let’s finish out the year strong together.
