Dear faculty and staff,
Welcome to the 2023-24 academic year! We’re excited to welcome more than 5,600 first-time, first-year students to campus, along with more than 1,450 new transfer students, more than 2,700 new graduate students and more than 1,000 new international students, and many new faculty and staff.
You’ve certainly been busy this summer, whether that’s with travel, research, or just taking some time to enjoy life with family and friends. You can read about what your colleagues and students have been up to in our article on NC State’s summer adventures.
As we start the fall semester, I want to encourage you to extend a warm welcome to any new faces you might see, and welcome back your returning colleagues and friends.
