Bio
Tony Reevy is Assistant Vice Provost for University Interdisciplinary Initiatives Development in the Provost’s Office at North Carolina State University. In that role, he assists the Global One Health Academy with private fund development. He is a 1983 graduate of North Carolina State University (Chemistry and Civil Engineering), UNC-Chapel Hill (MBA) and Miami University (MS Mass Communication). His career includes advancement positions in public radio, the UNC Institute for the Environment, and with NC State.
While at the UNC Institute for the Environment, Reevy also served as the Senior Associate Director, and his portfolio included administration of the Institute’s Study Abroad field sites and of the Institute’s research program. He has lived in the United Kingdom and has traveled extensively in Central Europe. Reevy’s publications include four books of poetry, five books focusing on the railroad in US life and US railroad-subject photography, and essays about the relationship between Hungary, Slovakia, and the United States.
