Dr. Muhammad Mubashar Beig is a microbiologist and veterinary professional with a strong academic and research background in infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and zoonotic pathogen surveillance. He currently serves as a Lecturer at the Institute of Microbiology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Beig has worked extensively on projects involving probiotics, foodborne pathogens, and emerging zoonoses, integrating laboratory diagnostics with field-based epidemiological studies. His research interests align closely with the mission of GOHA, focusing on the interconnected health of humans, animals, and the environment. Through his work, Dr. Beig advocates for evidence-based biosafety, biosecurity, and One Health approaches to mitigate global health threats.
