Bio

Dr. Muhammad Asaduzzaman is a global One Health (OH) researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo, Norway. His long-term research interests focus on the One Health, Planetary Health, Migrant/Minority Health, Environmental dimension of Antibiotic Resistance, Food Safety, Health System Research, Research Integrity, Pedagogy and Infectious disease epidemiology. He is a medical doctor with MPhil in Public Health and Masters in OH & Biosecurity. With expertise in field epidemiology, clinical trial, global health, and OH for more than 18 years, Dr. Asad has previously served as an Assistant Scientist at icddr,b, a GHES Fogarty fellow at UC Berkeley, OH fellow in South Asia in Massey University, New Zealand and a visiting scholar at Vanderbilt University, USA. He is an advocate for systems thinking and the capacity building of OH/PH approach in health system. He has authored more than 60 scientific publications with multidisciplinary collaborators.
