Bio
Jill Stewart is the Philip C. Singer Distinguished Professor of Environmental Sciences and Engineering. She is also Deputy Director of the NSF-funded Engineering Research Center for Precision Microbiome Engineering (PreMiEr). Her research focuses on environmental health microbiology including the development of novel tools to detect and track microbial contaminants in environmental systems.
