Bio

As a senior global health security specialist for RTI International within the International Development Group, Ms. Corrigan maximizes her expertise in global public health communications with her epidemiological training to amplify and grow RTI’s leadership in global health security and pandemic preparedness and response. This includes identifying opportunities that align with RTI’s mission to improve the human condition, fostering global partnerships with local and multinational organizations and experts and managing U.S. Government (USG) proposals for global and bilateral funding opportunities. She has experience with statistical analysis using SAS and has supported various research projects, clinical trials, and data collections projects using collections methods such as survey forms and personal interviews. Before joining RTI, Ms. Corrigan led communications and private fundraising for The Task Force for Global Health for five years, adapting and improving internal processes and strategies for global public health communications and business development. In this role, she published more than 50 human interest features and news articles. Prior to transitioning to global health, Ms. Corrigan worked in economic development research with Harvard University in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). She has lived in both the DRC and Rwanda and has a particular interest in working in conflict settings, especially in central Africa.
