Bio
Dr. Salviās research is focused on thermal and non-thermal food processing technologies such as cold atmospheric pressure plasma, high-pressure processing, microwave processing, extrusion, and ultraviolet light to ensure food safety and quality. She enjoys teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and mentoring graduate students and post-doctoral researchers.
