Bio

Dr. Deborah Thomson is the author of “The Art of Science Communication: Sharing Knowledge with Students, the Public, and Policymakers” and has founded and leads an organization that inspires children and adults around the world to value the interconnection between human health and the health of the environment, plants, and animals (called One Health Lessons). In addition, she creates and teaches lessons for the public about One Health, has served as a Science Policy Advisor in the United States Congress and is a clinical veterinarian and award-winning public speaker.
