Bio
Dr. Branda Nowell, is professor in the School of Public and International Affairs and an organizational and community psychologist who specializes in institutional design in complex policy arenas, social networks, and network governance. Her work has spanned multiple content domains including health and human service networks, disaster response, and environmental stewardship. She is the co-founder and director of the Firechasers Research Initiative which works with federal, state, and local stakeholders on institutional adaptation and resilience to wildfire in the context of climate change.
