Facilitating Change
Understanding the systems and processes to advance One Health while articulating and reflecting the skills to advance local and scalable solutions.
Reaching beyond the classroom
The Global One Health Academy’s Facilitating Change thematic area seeks to first understand the systems and processes to advance One Health and then to impart the skills to advance scalable solutions.
Our work strives to span the classroom to the field, from customizable educational credentialing through the Policy Analysis certificate to outreach and engagement opportunities in partnership with the Office of Global Engagement and targeted, individualized internship experiences. Throughout, the Shelton Leadership Center provides leadership training to students to develop critical professional competencies and reflective exercises with consideration of personal values and how one’s decisions and actions influence their unique paths toward one health solutions at home and abroad.
