About Emma
Emma Sell-Goodhand is a first-year PhD student in applied social psychology, working under the mentorship of Dr. Laura Widman. Her research aims to explore the impact of climate migration on youth sexual health outcomes.
Emma holds a MPH in Global Health Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and a BA in International Studies and Spanish from UNC-Asheville. Before coming to NC State, she served as a COVID-19 Epidemiologist at the World Health Organization in the Philippines.
