NC State has honored more than 40 faculty for their commitment to educational excellence with the 2024-25 University Teaching Awards. Award recipients were recognized at a University Teaching Awards Luncheon and Ceremony on Thursday, April 17 at the StateView Hotel.

The Celebration of Faculty Excellence is held each spring to recognize outstanding faculty who have received prestigious state, national and international awards, accolades or other distinctions during this academic year. This year, NC State honored 26 faculty members during the 2025 Celebration of Faculty Excellence on April 8.

NC State Launches Universitywide Global One Health Academy

NC State has launched the Global One Health Academy, focused on the health of plants, animals, biodiversity, and human societies. The academy represents a universitywide, interdisciplinary effort to engage faculty, staff, undergraduate, and graduate students in providing the health of animals, plans, biodiversity, humans, and society in North Carolina and beyond.
