Bio

Dr. Duffy’s research is focused on animal behavior, evolution, and chemical ecology. Her work bridges the gap between basic evolution and applied environmental health research by combining field and lab-based experiments, analytical chemistry, comparative morphology, and genetics. In addition, Dr. Duffy works within the Center for Human Health and the Environment (CHHE) and supports several multi-institutional human health cohort studies, including the “Southern Liver Health Study” (STRIVE), “Newborn Epigenetic Study” (NEST), and “Stress and Health In Pregnancy” (SHIP) cohorts.
