Bio
Jerry W. Loflin, PhD, is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Fitness and Wellness in the Department of Health and Exercise Studies in University College at NC State. He earned his PhD from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Loflin has over 20 years of higher education professional experience and has taught over 25 different fitness and wellness courses. His research focuses on implementation fidelity and physical activity interventions. Framed by complexity theory, Dr. Loflin’s research attempts to understand and explain why field-based practitioners elect to change research-based physical activity interventions proven to positively impact health disparities.
