Bio
Shayan Sarmadi is a digital health leader focused on improving care delivery and health equity through innovative technology and partnership. He has consulted with many different organizations in the healthcare space, including academic health centers, enterprise healthcare organizations, payers, life science companies, and digital health startups. Shayan most recently led a client solutions team for a leading health software company focused on deploying new product functionality at scale. His personal research interests are focused on health system strengthening, healthcare data interoperability, AI applications within healthcare, Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), and the impact of climate change on health outcomes and the delivery of quality patient care. Shayan has a Master of Management in Clinical Informatics degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He is a North Carolina native and enjoys seeing live music, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
