Advisor for Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) at PANAFTOSA, under the auspices of PAHO and WHO. PANAFTOSA leads the Hemispheric Program for the Eradication of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (PHEFA), aiming to declare all countries in the Americas free from FMD and to increase areas that are FMD-free without the need for vaccination.
