Bio

Emily Evens PhD, MPH has over twenty years of international experience in the design and implementation of applied global health research. She has expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies including operations and formative research, implementation science, participatory methods, and program evaluation. She works with national and regional governments and community stakeholders in lower- and middle-income countries to strengthen health programs through the application of research results and the provision of technical assistance. Her research interests include infectious diseases, maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, supporting new innovations in health service delivery and quality improvement. She has worked throughout East, Southern, and West Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
