Bio

Sarah Rhea, DVM, MPH, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Population Health and Pathobiology at North Carolina State University. Dr. Rhea’s research interests encompass multiple areas of infectious disease epidemiology in human and animal populations, including antimicrobial resistance, healthcare-associated infections, disease surveillance, and emerging and zoonotic pathogens. Through her research, Dr. Rhea applies epidemiologic methods and modeling approaches to address real-world challenges in global public health and clinical practice using a One Health approach.
