Dr. Sano ‘s lab studies the complex interaction between cells/tissues and electric fields. They use the phenomena that arise to develop new techniques for treating and detecting diseases. This includes isolation / identification of infectious agents from blood as well as new approaches for delivering next generation DNA vaccines.
