Bio

Dr. Fred Wright is Professor of Statistics and Biological Sciences. He is a statistician with interests in the effects of genetic susceptibility and the environment on human health. Modern methods for genetic sequencing have created new opportunities to dissect genetic by environment interactions, and challenges in the methodology necessary to handle multi-omic data streams. Dr. Wright’s work at the interface of life and data sciences is aligned with several Academy priorities.
