Bio
Dr. Widman is a clinical psychologist who works at the intersection of psychology and public health. Her research interests are in the areas of sexual health and decision-making, as well as the development and evaluation of technology-based interventions that improve health outcomes. She has expertise in HIV/STI and unplanned pregnancy prevention, with a focus on promoting the sexual health of adolescents and young adults. Dr. Widman co-leads the Social and Behavioral Health Research Group at NC State.
