Three Faculty Win Holladay Medal

Three faculty members received the Alexander Quarles Holladay Medal for Excellence, the highest honor bestowed by NC State and the university’s Board of Trustees. Chancellor Randy Woodson will recognize the awardees during the Celebration of Faculty Excellence on April 8.

Daniel Monek Named Associate Vice Provost for Academic Personnel and Policy

Daniel Monek has been named the new associate vice provost for academic personnel and policy, effective April 7. He will assume the role from Laura Nelson, who is returning to NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine as the director of clinical education. Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Excellence Kim Grainger made the announcement today.
