From Chancellor Woodson, Provost Arden and VC Maimone: Budget Update – University Auxiliary Services

Each of NC State’s auxiliary units has implemented operational expense reduction plans to help address COVID-19 related revenue shortfalls. Auxiliary units have worked diligently to consolidate services; reduce hours; close facilities; enact hiring, travel and spending freezes; renegotiate service contracts; and, where possible, transition from in-person services to alternative online services. NC State students, do your part: COVID-19 and your responsibilities

From Chancellor Woodson, Provost Arden and Interim Vice Chancellor for DASA Lisa Zapata: Our thanks to the many students who are doing all they can to Protect the Pack by wearing face coverings, keeping physically distant and adhering to our community standards. Unfortunately, over the past few days we’ve also witnessed far too many occasions where students are not taking measures to keep themselves or others safe from COVID-19. To ensure health and safety, the university must and will hold students accountable for behavior inconsistent with our COVID-19 rules and guidelines. Students not complying with NC State’s required community standards will be subject to referral to the Office of Student Conduct and disciplinary action.
