Dr. David Hinks has been named dean of North Carolina State University’s College of Textiles after serving as its interim leader since July 2014. Provost Warwick Arden announced Hinks’ permanent appointment, which is effective Jan. 1, 2016.

NC State Chancellor Randy Woodson announced the 2015-16 University Faculty Scholars, top NC State early- and mid-career faculty who will receive $10,000 in donated funds for each of the next five years to support their academic endeavors.
