Implementation Insights – Institutional Effectiveness
Last month, the provost announced strategic planning and implementation’s relocation to Institutional Effectiveness (IE). Implementation Specialist Genevieve Rockett and I are excited to continue supporting university excellence and continuous improvement as part of IE.
Practically speaking, what does this move mean? The implementation plan contacts we primarily serve should notice little, if any, change. As part of IE, the Strategy and Implementation team will continue to do the following:
- Hold regular touch points with contacts on implementation plan progress;
- Provide direct implementation support through scopes of work with contacts;
- Develop and applying Pack Practices for Successful Initiatives; and
- Align our services and grow a set of tools with Pack Practices.
For all that’s staying the same, we also know change will come. As the IE team settles in together, we’ll undoubtedly see new opportunities to think and do strategy and implementation at and for NC State. That’s continuous improvement, and we look forward to it.
Stay tuned.
