University Standing Committee Survey Now Open

NC State alumni gateway

University Standing Committee membership provides an avenue for giving feedback to help determine NC State’s direction for the future.

The University Standing Committee Survey is available online now through Monday, February 3. Benefit-eligible employees in a .75 or greater FTE position, along with emeritus/emerita faculty, may serve on a university standing committee.

If you are interested in serving on a committee, please complete the online survey. Please note that this does not guarantee a committee appointment.

Due to term/seat rotations, no staff vacancies are available on standing committees for 2020-2021. However, if you are a staff member interested in serving on a committee, please proceed to complete the survey, as vacancies may occur throughout the year. Completion of the survey will also track the specific rank and number of years you have selected a committee, which is a factor used in committee placement.

In addition to University Standing Committees, you have an opportunity to indicate if you are interested in serving on Administrative Advisory Committees. The Committees website includes information on the standing committees and advisory committees.

Standing committees include:

  • Admissions (Undergraduate)
  • Athletics, Council on
  • Bookstores
  • Commencement
  • Courses and Curricula
  • Dining
  • Evaluation of Teaching
  • Group Insurance and Benefits
  • International Programs
  • Library
  • Lifelong Faculty Involvement
  • Registration, Records and Calendar
  • Speakers and Lectures (formerly Harrelson Fund Committee)
  • Undergraduate Education, Council on
  • University Housing

Members selected for University Standing Committees will be notified this summer by the chancellor.

Questions about the survey may be addressed to Amy Jinnette at arjinnet@ncsu.edu.
