2016 Promoted and Tenured Faculty

NC State University gateway

The completion of the promotion and tenure processes form major milestones in the professional lives of NC State faculty members. Promotion indicates that faculty members have met a rigorous standard of excellence in their realms of responsibility, while tenure signifies a faculty member’s significant accomplishments in their discipline and promotes the academic freedom of the faculty.

“NC State faculty play a vital role in promoting the university’s comprehensive excellence through their research, teaching and engagement,” said Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Warwick Arden. “We are committed to ensuring that all faculty members have clear career pathways in all of our professorial tracks.”

University faculty members made great career strides this year. The following faculty members are to be commended for reaching significant milestones.
