Course material requests for the summer and fall 2026 semesters are due to Wolfpack Outfitters by Friday, May 1. Meeting this deadline ensures the Course Materials team can review, order and organize materials so they are ready for students on the first day of class.
Course Ready is a digital-first program that provides undergraduate students with affordable access to all required course materials on the first day of class. To be in compliance with the Higher Education Act required of all schools receiving federal funds, faculty are required to submit accurate course material requests by May 1. Timely submission can also help to keep course material acquisition costs down and ensures students can make informed decisions about Course Ready participation based on their course registrations.
Important Information:
- Faculty are responsible for submitting course materials requests for all required and optional materials to comply with university policies. For guidance on submitting course materials, please refer to Academic Policies and Regulation 07.10.02, Listing of Required Course Materials, and REG 02.20.10.
- If no materials are needed, select “No Text Required.”
- Requesting Materials: Faculty can select a variety of resources, including printed books, e-books, coursepacks, Open Educational Resources (OER), and courseware such as WebAssign, Packback and ZyBooks. Please consider both educational value and cost when selecting materials. When all requests are complete, remember to click “review and submit.”
- Faculty participation in Course Ready is not optional. While students may choose to opt out, faculty must submit materials accurately and on time to ensure compliance and equitable access to course materials for students in Course Ready.
- Course Ready provides course materials in a digital format whenever possible. Print textbooks will be supplied only when a digital version is unavailable or when a course requires a physical copy. Clearly indicate if a print textbook is necessary for a course so the correct format is provided.
