NC State Holds 2020-21 University Teaching Awards Virtual Ceremony
NC State honored winners of the 2020-21 University Teaching Awards in a virtual ceremony on Nov. 10. The event was part of Red and White Week, the university’s annual homecoming celebration.
NC State Celebrates Outstanding Faculty
The Celebration of Faculty Excellence is held each spring to recognize outstanding faculty who have received prestigious awards, accolades or other distinctions during the previous year. In 2020, NC State honored 25 faculty virtually since the annual event could not be held in person.
Nominations for 2020-21 Faculty Awards Sought
Nominations are now open for seven awards for NC State faculty members. This year’s nomination submission deadlines have been moved up a few weeks earlier than normal in order to accommodate the change in the fall semester calendar, and to provide departments and colleges ample time to prepare nominations.
2019-20 University Teaching Awards Announced
NC State has honored more than 30 faculty for their commitment to educational excellence with the 2019-20 University Teaching Awards. A recognition event for all award recipients will be held when conditions are more favorable.

The annual event honors faculty who have won prestigious state, national and international awards and created new knowledge and advancements in their respective disciplines.

2017-2018 University Teaching Awards Presented
NC State recognized more than 30 faculty for their dedication to teaching, mentoring and innovation at the 2017-2018 University Teaching Awards Ceremony on April 4. Melissa A. Pasquinelli received the University of North Carolina Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching.
