*Please note that the deadline for providing feedback has been extended to Friday, November 12.*

In March 2021, Chancellor Randy Woodson charged a Post COVID-19 Innovation Task Force Steering Committee to identify major innovations realized during NC State’s pandemic response. The committee was asked to identify adaptations at the university level which may hold potential for improving university effectiveness within NC State’s academic, research, administrative and operations areas. Four task forces were created: Instruction and Student Support, Research, How We Work, and Digital Transformation.

The steering committee and task forces examined innovations and adaptations implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, explored  ‘lessons learned’ and drafted proposals to improve university effectiveness. Further information on the task forces and the four reports can be found on the 2021 Post COVID-19 Innovation Task Force website.

All members of the NC State community are being asked to review the executive summary as well as individual task force reports, and provide feedback that will be valuable in determining what changes to implement and best practices for doing so.

The university will take the feedback into consideration when determining what will be included in the first three-year implementation plan of Wolfpack 2030: Powering the Extraordinary. Thoughts and opinions of faculty, staff and students will shape the future of how NC State teaches, learns, researches, serves and innovates in the future.

Feedback can be provided via the forms on the Post COVID-19 Innovation Task Forces website. Please provide responses by Friday, November 12.

For general feedback not related to a specific report, please email strategic-planning@ncsu.edu.
