Supporting Student Success
The Provost’s Office supports student success across the university through myriad experiential education opportunities. This means balancing access with quality so all students make timely progress toward a degree. The Provost’s Office strives to provide educational opportunities that equip students to engage with the campus, community and world through research, service and more.
We set the bar high for our students and work tirelessly to help them achieve their goals. We also set goals of our own, including increasing the four-year graduation and overall student retention rate. The Provost’s Office contributes to this progress through funding student research and work experiences, experiential education opportunities and more. Through paving the way for student success, we encourage students to Think and Do from their first year to beyond graduation.

Beyond the Bricks
Rural North Carolina communities can expect a boost from NC State’s new Rural Works! program, designed to address the significant opportunities and challenges in these areas.
