Dear faculty and staff,
It is that time of year again — we’re near the end of the spring semester and everyone is busy preparing for final exams, graduation and more.
Before we get too ahead of ourselves, I’d like to thank you all for an incredibly successful Day of Giving in March. This year we raised an incredible more than $50 million from more than 18,500 gifts. What an accomplishment!
We’re also cheering with you in light of the Provost’s Unit Awards for Excellence and the Celebration of Faculty Excellence, held March 21 and April 8, respectively. Additionally, the University Teaching Awards event will be held tomorrow, which will include the Provost’s Award for High Impact Experiential Learning.
Congratulations to everyone who was honored with an award this year, and thank all our faculty and staff for your continued pursuit of excellence at NC State. I anticipate more good things are in store for us in the future.
