Senior Vice Provost for University Interdisciplinary Programs Finalist Interviews Announced

Three finalists for senior vice provost for University Interdisciplinary Programs have been selected for on-campus interviews, which will begin next week. The finalists and their interview dates are:

  • Rob Dunn, NC State University: May 4 – 5
  • Bridget Trogden, Clemson University: May 10 – 11
  • Jill Hernandez, Central Washington University: May 12 – 13

Several constituent groups will have opportunities to meet with each candidate, and the entire NC State community is invited to the following open forums, which will be held on main campus with the option to participate via Zoom webinar:

  • Rob Dunn: Wednesday, May 4, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Talley Student Union, Room 3210, and via Zoom webinar
  • Bridget Trogden: Tuesday, May 10, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Talley Student Union, Room 3285, and via Zoom webinar
  • Jill Hernandez: Thursday, May 12, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Witherspoon Student Center, Washington Sankofa Room 126, and via Zoom webinar

Each candidate will give a presentation on “The Role of the Office of University Interdisciplinary Programs in Advancing Interdisciplinary Instruction, Research and Engagement,” with a question and answer session to follow. The presentations will be recorded and made available upon request at the conclusion of the last finalist interview.

NC State Executive Search Services will email participants separately the date, time and location for candidate interviews. The university requests as much in-person participation as possible, but will have virtual participation available as well.
