NC State’s Coastal Resilience and Sustainability Initiative seeks to create a more resilient and sustainable future for coastal communities across North Carolina – and around the world. Through an interdisciplinary team of experts, the initiative will work toward actionable solutions that address issues such as climate change and focus on natural ecosystems, coastal plain communities, and rural and agricultural economies for a more sustainable future.

NC State’s Office for Faculty Excellence fosters faculty success in every career stage by offering professional and leadership development programming, supporting policies related to faculty employment, and facilitating faculty awards and recognition. The office, formed from a merger of the former Office of Faculty Affairs and the Office of Faculty Development, continues to support and guide faculty by enhancing traditional offerings and expanding programming.

Professor Kevin Oliver selected as 1 of 3 2022 UNC Faculty Fellows

Professor Kevin Oliver has been selected as one of three UNC System faculty members to serve as a 2022 UNC Faculty Fellow. As a fellow, Oliver will engage in special projects, review current literature, talk with innovative teaching faculty across the UNC System and national higher education, and investigate and experiment with new technologies.
