*The time has passed to sign up for a faculty or staff open listening section. Stay up-to-date on all strategic planning information and future opportunities for participation in the planning process at https://strategicplan.ncsu.edu/nc-states-next-strategic-plan/.*

In December, the university’s proposed goals, vision and values were shared with the campus community for review. Now, several listening sessions have been scheduled for this semester with various staff, faculty and students. In these sessions questions will be asked such as: What is your initial response or reaction to these high-level goals? Where do you see yourself fitting into these goals from a grad student perspective or any other position you hold on campus? and What are some ideas or potential strategies you could see fitting into these goals?

In addition, the Strategic Planning Executive Steering committee invites faculty and staff to an open listening session. Two dates and times for each have been identified. Those dates are:

  • Faculty
    • Thursday, February 11 – 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
    • Friday, February 12 – 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
  • Staff
    • Thursday, February 11 – noon – 1 p.m.
    • Friday, February 12 – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Please indicate your interest in participating in an open listening session by completing this form even if these dates and times do not work with your schedule. If there is enough interest for alternate dates and times, additional open sessions will be held in the following weeks. You will receive a follow-up email with your scheduled date and time along with additional details. Please complete this form by Thursday, February 4.

Your continued engagement to create the next 10-year strategic plan is integral to the plan’s success. If you have specific questions about strategic planning and the current process, please email strategic-planning@ncsu.edu
