March 2020 Provost’s Corner

Dear faculty and staff,

This is a challenging time for the entire university community, as coronavirus is impacting the professional and personal lives of so many. I want to thank each one of you for your dedication in ensuring that we address this challenge, allowing us to continue to work and learn.

Please read Chancellor Woodson’s latest letter to campus regarding moving to limited operations and online classes. I want to echo his sentiment that the health and safety of our campus community, and maintaining academic continuity, remain NC State’s top priorities.

Many events have been either moved online, cancelled or rescheduled for a later date. This includes the annual University Global Partnership Network Conference that NC State participates in every year. For further information on events, please check the NC State homepage or your individual college or unit sites.

Let’s remember the community we’ve built at NC State, and in that spirit, be mindful of the needs and concerns of others. Reach out to your colleagues and support one another in efforts to address coronavirus concerns and personal and professional needs. In the Provost’s Office, we are here for you and hope to continue to serve our Wolfpack family.
