Update on NCSU Libraries Leadership Search

Students sitting on chairs in the D.H. Hill Library

The position of Senior Vice Provost and Director of Libraries posted on the NCSU Jobs website July 6, followed by advertisements in various publications the week of July 16. The nomination committee met on July 24 for the mid-search meeting to review current applicants, and to discuss the search timeline and processes.

The committee will meet again at the end of August to identify candidates for video conference interviews. These interviews will most likely take place the first two weeks of September. The committee will then make a recommendation to Provost Arden of three or four candidates for on-campus interviews. These interviews will be conducted during the last week of September into the first few weeks of October.

Candidate recommendations may be sent to a member of the nominating committee. Updates and additional information will be posted on the search website, which can also be found at go.ncsu.edu/libraries-search.
