Assessment of Success
NC State is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees. Dr. Fashaad Crawford, associate vice provost for assessment and accreditation, provides insight into the accreditation and assessment process and how integral it is to the success of the campus community.
More than 3,500 students will turn their tassels during NC State’s fall commencement on December 16. The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost provides support to ensure each of these students becomes a successful graduate.
McKeand Nabs Top Service Award for Work With Pines
Steve McKeand, director of NC State’s Cooperative Tree Improvement Program, is honored with the Governor James E. Holshouser Jr. Award for Excellence in Public Service from the University of North Carolina Board of Governors.

NC State Chancellor Randy Woodson announced the 2016-2017 class of University Faculty Scholars today. The 22 recipients represent top early- and mid-career faculty engaging in research to present solutions to society’s most pressing issues.
