Transformative Health and Climate Research

We address health impacts of climate change on people, animals, plants, and their living environments through transdisciplinary and transformative research. We assess, document, and map health inequities in association with the effects of climate change as we aim to prevent, adapt, and respond to increased health risks, and also mitigate the impacts posed by increased weather events.

We demonstrate the complex ways climate change threatens population health, ecology, and the built environment. Through interdisciplinary lenses and innovative collaboration, we aim to provide data and build better understanding about how human health, behaviors, and climate change related factors, decisions and policies can lead to unequal outcomes as we explore local and global solutions.
