Bio
Savannah Swinea (she/her) uses participatory approaches with technical and local experts to co-produce knowledge for benefiting ecosystems and societies. Her research addresses the prevalence and resilience of decentralized and community-oriented foodways, specifically among historically marginalized groups. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at North Carolina State University in partnership with the USGS Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center.
