Bio
I am a catchment hydrologist who works on improving process understanding of ecohydrological soil-plant interactions using stable isotope methods. I got my degrees in Germany, did postdocs in Scotland, Spain, and at NCSU, and worked for 5 years as a scientist at the Berkeley National Lab. Since August 2025, I am an assistant professor in hydrology at NCSU.
