Bio
With over 20 years of experience in Public Health Disaster Preparedness, I recognize the critical importance of a global one health approach to preparing for, responding to and mitigating vulnerabilities in order to build resiliency. To that end, in addition to directing preparedness programs in 2 states, I have served as mentor and instructor in one health, global health and disaster preparedness for over 15 years. My research interests are disaster epidemiology and the impact of social determinants of health and climate on resilience to disasters.
