Inside Stories: Why Ecology Takes Guts (1 of 3)

The Department of Applied Ecology and the Global One Health Academy are co-hosting a seminar mini-series, Inside Stories: Why Ecology Takes Guts. This is your chance to look inside bees, primates, bats, and other hosts to learn about the secret lives of parasites and pathogens. And to learn more about the scientists who spend their days deep in feces!

This first seminar will feature April Sharp, NC State PhD Candidate, presenting on, Floral Pharmacies: Sunflower pollen diet reduces shedding and transmission rates of a bumble bee gut parasite while modifying host stress responses.
