2025-26 University Teaching Awards Announced

NC State has honored nearly 50 faculty for their commitment to educational excellence with the 2025-26 University Teaching Awards. Award recipients were recognized at a University Teaching Awards Luncheon and Ceremony on Tuesday, April 21 at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library.

These 20 early- and mid-career faculty receive this designation in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements and contributions to NC State through their teaching, scholarship and service to the university and beyond.

Six GOHA Affiliate Members Selected for 2025-26 Goodnight Early Career Innovators

NC State announced its 2025-26 class of Goodnight Early Career Innovators today. This program recognizes and rewards promising NC State early-career faculty whose scholarship is in STEM or STEM education. The 25 faculty selected will receive $22,000 ­for each of the next three years to support their scholarship and research endeavors.

The Celebration of Faculty Excellence is held each spring to recognize outstanding faculty who have received prestigious state, national and international awards, accolades or other distinctions during this academic year. This year, NC State honored 26 faculty members during the 2025 Celebration of Faculty Excellence on April 8.
