Current Year Details – 2019-2020
2019-2020 Reminders
1. The Statement of Faculty Responsibilities (SFR) is a dossier requirement for 2019-2020. All faculty undergoing RPT review must have an SFR in their dossier. See video and fact sheet on SME to SFR Transition. |
2. DVF and CRPTC assessments should be inclusive in scope, clearly expressing the range of peer viewpoints on the quality and impact of the candidate’s work. See video on RPT Assessments, Recommendations and Votes. |
3. It is important for departments and colleges to understand the voting options in the RPT process so that these options are recorded accurately before a candidate’s dossier goes forward to the next stage of review. See video on RPT Assessments, Recommendations and Votes. |
4. Peer review of teaching is to be conducted for all faculty with teaching assignments. The required number of peer reviews is found in the Evaluation of Teaching Regulation. Any case that does not contain the required number of evaluations must include an explanation in the Department Head’s assessment. See Section II.A.2.b. of the Dossier Regulation for clarifications recommended by the Evaluation of Teaching Committee on evidence of teaching effectiveness. |
