DESCRIPTION:Due to an unexpected illness\, Sarah Lannom from the Office of General Counsel will be rescheduled to a later date. Given this\, today’s DH meeting will feature Dr. Katharine Stewart and Dr. Courtney Thornton from the Office of Faculty Affairs. They will provide an overview of common questions and critical issues faced by Dept. Heads related to Reappointment\, Promotion & Tenure (RPT)\, Statements of Mutual Expectations (SMEs)\, and Post-Tenure Review (PTR). Lunch will be provided\, and there will be ample time for Q&A so bring your questions related to all things RPT\, SMEs\, and PTR. \n\nThe Department Head Workshop Series\, sponsored by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and organized by the Office of Faculty Development\, is open to all department heads.
