Multiple Venues Across Campus NC

Black History Month kicks off on Feb. 1 with a month full of programming hosted by organizations across NC State, including art, speakers, discussions, and educational events. From triumphs and hardships collective resiliency and community interconnectedness, this year's theme of “Our Wings Still Fly: the Beauty and the Burden of Blackness” symbolizes the social injustices faced by people of the diaspora.

While there is a common and growing perception of a divide between rural and urban North Carolina, the truth is we are highly interconnected by people, place and prosperity. Join us as we explore new ways to define, celebrate and leverage these interconnections to build a more prosperous NC. The forum is organized by the Institute for Emerging Issues.
