Example Letter for Soliciting External Evaluations is provided as an optional support tool. Using this template is not required; however, the letter MUST notify the reviewer that under North Carolina law, the individual may examine the letters submitted.
Example Annotated Listing of External Evaluator is provided as an optional support tool. Using this sample is not required.
When a Department Head, Dean or Provost receive unsolicited letters or emails pertaining to a case, these should not be included in the dossier, but should be retained in the faculty member's personnel file.
